The Attributes and Personality Traits of God are vast as we serve a very BIG God. His Attributes and Personality Traits are immeasurable for our limited human minds to comprehend. Remember that our God is a loving God. No matter what the sin is, when we repent of our sins, and come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will always welcome us and forgive us. Do not let the above list of detestable sins stop you from coming to Him.
The gift of forgiveness can only be received if you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross, and that He was raised from the dead. You also have to ask Jesus to be Lord and Savior over your life. If you have not already done this, please recite the prayer at the bottom of this page, and read it aloud.
He has given us this information about His personality out of love so that we can understand how to please Him, and what not to do to displease Him. I would encourage you to start your own study of His Word to learn even more about Him and build a strong relationship with Him. Before you begin to read, ask God to reveal His knowledge to you, and to reveal His Word clearly to you. You will be amazed at the revelations He will give you.
There is always something new to learn about God.
To Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior:
Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan and close the door to any of his devices.
I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name Amen.
The above prayer is from the book "Prayers that avail much" by Germaine Copeland.
